In deciding how best to destroy what little credibility the Nobel Committee has, they have given this year’s Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama. Do not check your calendar, it is not April 1st. (I do have to admit, however, that I haven’t seen this good a joke come out of April Fools Day in a long time)
Here are some quotes from the committee on why they chose “the chosen one” and the translation.
"His extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,"
"a new climate in international politics"
Translation: His global apology tour. Remember, liberals worldwide hate when the United States is strong. As Barack weakens how we are viewed through his constant apologizing and weakens us financially by destroying the dollar, the liberal world cheers.
Now the real reason…
He’s not George Bush! That’s it; there can be no other reason. He hasn’t done ANYTHING! Even the committee said as much. Besides, the nominations closed on February 1st. The Anointed One had only been in office for two weeks. What a sham this Nobel group is. Poor Mr. Nobel is turning over in his grave.
